When did you start your journey as an entrepreneur?

Weight loss hasn’t just been my profession but also a personal journey. After pregnancy, I gained 110 kg and was diagnosed with thyroid issues, PCOS, and TB. It was a wake-up call—I had put my health on the back seat for far too long.

It wasn’t easy, but I made a decision to prioritize my health. Over 2.5 years, I faced challenges, struggles, and invaluable learning. I didn’t just shed 60 kg; I also reversed my thyroid and PCOS.

That’s why, in 2017, I founded Nurture, built upon my personal weight loss experiences.

My goal was to provide the professional support I once lacked. At Nurture, we follow the 3S Principle—Simple, Supportive, and Sustainable—to help individuals achieve their health goals with a structured yet flexible approach.

How can the constant portrayal of “perfect” diets on social media contribute to the mental health challenges individuals face regarding food anxiety, and what strategies can we adopt to shift this narrative?

Social media often creates an illusion of “perfect” diets, leading to food guilt, unrealistic expectations, disordered eating. Many individuals feel pressured to follow extreme diet trends, which can negatively impact mental well-being. I believe in shifting this narrative by promoting balanced eating, highlighting individual needs , and encouraging evidence-based guidance over social media myths. A personalized and flexible approach to nutrition allows people to build a healthier relationship with food.

In what ways can we educate individuals on understanding their unique nutritional needs while promoting a holistic approach to well-being that goes beyond societal standards of “healthy eating”?

Understanding nutrition goes beyond just following generic diet plans. I emphasize bioindividuality, where each person has unique dietary needs based on genetics, lifestyle, and health conditions. Through workshops, webinars, and specially personalized coaching, I help individuals move past diet stereotypes and embrace a sustainable, flexible approach to nutrition. The key is to integrate food, mental well-being, and overall health to create long-lasting habits that support both physical and emotional wellness.

How can we integrate mindfulness and self-compassion practices into nutritional counseling to reduce the psychological stress associated with food choices and promote a more positive relationship with eating?

Mindfulness plays a crucial role in reducing food anxiety and fostering a healthier relationship with eating. I encourage mindful eating by helping individuals slow down, savor their meals, and remove guilt from food choices. Self-compassion is essential—I don’t label any food as “bad” or “off-limits.” Rather, I emphasize enjoying your favorite food once a week while staying mindful for the rest of the week. Rejecting diet culture and embracing intuitive eating allows people to focus on nourishment rather than restriction, leading to a more sustainable and positive approach to food, which in turn becomes a lifestyle for most of my clients!

How does pushing physical limitations in training impact the mental resilience and overall well-being of individuals, and what role does mindset play in achieving long-term fitness goals?

Challenging physical limits strengthens not just the body but also the mind. Pushing through workouts builds discipline, resilience, and self-confidence. In my fitness philosophy, mindset is the key to long-term success. A strong, determined mindset helps individuals stay consistent, overcome obstacles, and celebrate progress. Fitness is not just about aesthetics—it’s about cultivating a mental attitude that fuels motivation and long-term well-being.

In what ways can personalized fitness programs, like private sessions or ondemand content, cater to the diverse needs of clients, helping them achieve sustainable results while considering factors like individual strengths and weaknesses?

Every individual has different fitness goals, limitations, and strengths. This is why I advocate for personalized fitness programs that cater to diverse needs. Private coaching and on-demand content allow for flexibility, targeted improvements, and injury prevention. By customizing workouts based on strengths and weaknesses, individuals can see sustainable progress without the risk of burnout or frustration. Personalization ensures that fitness becomes a lifelong habit rather than a temporary effort.

How can the integration of mental health strategies, such as mindfulness or stress management, enhance the effectiveness of physical fitness programs, and why is it important to address both aspects in achieving holistic fitness?

Mental and physical health are deeply interconnected. Incorporating mindfulness and stress management into fitness programs enhances overall well-being. It is common knowledge that working out helps release oxytocin, a “happy hormone,” creating a positive cycle. While mindfulness helps you stay disciplined with the fitness program, the happy hormones from the workout keep you motivated to continue.

I integrate practices like meditation, breathwork, and relaxation techniques to help individuals manage stress while staying committed to their fitness journey. A holistic approach that balances exercise, mental health, and self-care leads to long-lasting results and prevents burnout.

How can the integration of media presence and public speaking contribute to reshaping societal perceptions of nutrition and wellness, and what impact does this have on encouraging individuals to adopt healthier lifestyles?

As a nutritionist and wellness advocate, I use my media presence and public speaking platforms to challenge myths and educate people on sustainable health practices. By spreading evidence-based information, I help individuals break free from fad diets and harmful fitness trends. Engaging with communities, sharing real success stories, and promoting a balanced lifestyle inspire others to make informed choices about their health.

How can personalized health and fitness programs, combining nutrition, exercise, and mental well-being, lead to more sustainable and transformative lifestyle changes for individuals with diverse health needs?

A holistic approach that integrates nutrition, exercise, and mental wellness is the foundation of long-term transformation. I design personalized programs that address individual dietary needs and help clients create habits that fit their unique lifestyles. Not just that—counselling and constant support help individuals stay on track. When all aspects of well-being are considered together, individuals experience more profound, sustainable changes that go beyond quick fixes and temporary results.
