When did you started your journey as an chef?

I started my journey as a chef in January 2024. That was the time when I decided to turn my passion for baking into a professional career. What began as a simple love for creating cakes and desserts soon became a dream to run my own home bakery. Since then, I have been dedicated to learning, improving my skills, and creating beautiful cakes for my customers. Starting my home bakery has been a very special and rewarding journey for me.
How do you balance creativity and precision while baking at home?

Balancing my work and home responsibilities is something I manage with careful planning and passion. Since I run my home bakery from home, I organize my schedule in a way that allows me to handle everything smoothly. I am also a makeup artist and a content creator, so my days are quite busy.

During the day or sometimes in the evening, I focus on my makeup work and client appointments. At night, I usually dedicate my time to baking, creating cakes, and filming content for my social media pages. I also manage two separate pages—one for my baking and another for my makeup work—so I plan my content and upload videos regularly, often on weekends. For me, creativity is a big part of everything I do, and with good time management and passion for my work, I’m able to balance my home, baking business, makeup artistry, and content creation together.
In my opinion, baking truly reflects patience and discipline in everyday life. Baking is not something that can be rushed. Every step—from measuring ingredients accurately to mixing, baking at the right temperature, and waiting for the cake to cool—requires patience. Even a small mistake in measurement or timing can affect the final result.

This teaches us to stay calm, focused, and disciplined while working. For me, baking has also helped me become more organized and mindful in my daily routine. It reminds me that good results come with time, consistency, and dedication, which are important qualities not only in baking but also in life.
What inspires you to create unique flavors and designs in your baked goods?

The appreciation and encouragement I receive from my customers and family. Whenever my customers enjoy my cakes and encourage me to introduce more flavors, it motivates me to experiment and try something new. I also test many of my new recipes with my family members.
When I bake for them, they give me honest reviews, and if they like a flavor, they often recommend it to their friends and relatives, which inspires me even more. Over time, I have experimented with and introduced several different flavors at home such as Pistachio Kunafa Cake, Exotic Fresh Fruit Cake, Caramel Sauce Vanilla Cake, and Almond Praline Cake.
For designs, I often take inspiration from platforms like Pinterest and Instagram. Whenever I see a beautiful or trending cake design, I try to recreate it in my own style. I also suggest these designs to my customers, and when they choose them, I enjoy bringing those ideas to life through my cakes.”
How do you maintain quality and consistency when baking from a home kitchen?

Maintaining quality and consistency while baking from a home kitchen is very important to me. I make sure to use good-quality ingredients and follow precise measurements for every recipe.
I also pay close attention to temperature, baking time, and preparation methods to ensure that every cake turns out perfect. Cleanliness and proper organization in my kitchen are also a priority.

Over time, with regular practice and experience, I have developed a system that helps me maintain the same taste, texture, and presentation in every order. No matter how big or small the order is, I always try to give my customers the same level of quality and care in every cake I bake.
What challenges did you face while turning home baking into a professional journey, and how did you overcome them?

When I started my home baking journey, the initial phase was quite challenging. In the beginning, I did not receive much support from friends, relatives, or even neighbors—except from my family. Instead of getting discouraged, I decided to prove my work through my cakes.
I started baking different types of cakes and designs and gave free samples to my neighbors and friends so they could taste them and share their honest feedback. I would personally deliver the cakes myself, often without charging any delivery fee, just to build trust and let people experience my baking.
During the first few months, I also took cakes to my workplace for small occasions and shared them with my colleagues. Slowly, they started appreciating my work and began placing orders as well.
Later, I started promoting my home bakery on social media, especially Instagram, and added my location so that people nearby could find me. That was a turning point for me, as I began receiving orders through social media. With patience, consistency, and the support of my family and early customers, I was able to turn my passion for baking into a growing professional journey.
Another challenge was building trust and reaching more customers in the beginning. However, I stayed consistent with my work, focused on improving my baking skills, and shared my creations regularly on social media.

The love and support from my customers, family, and friends motivated me to keep going. Over time, their positive feedback and encouragement helped me grow my confidence and turn my home baking into a meaningful professional journey.

Baking is a beautiful combination of science, creativity, and patience. The scientific part of baking comes from the precise measurements, correct temperatures, and proper techniques required to turn simple ingredients like flour, sugar, butter, and eggs into a perfect cake. Even a small change in quantity or timing can affect the final result, which shows how important accuracy is in baking.
At the same time, baking allows a lot of creativity. From experimenting with new flavors to designing beautiful cakes for different occasions, it gives me the freedom to express my artistic side. Patience is also very important, because every step—from mixing the batter to baking and decorating—takes time and care.

For me, baking is not just about making desserts; it is about transforming simple ingredients into something meaningful and special that brings happiness to people’s celebrations.

When the proportion of chocolate is higher, the ganache becomes thicker and firmer, which makes it perfect for truffles, fillings, or cake coverings. On the other hand, when more cream is added, the ganache becomes smoother and more fluid, making it ideal for glazes or drips on cakes.

This balance also affects the flavor. A higher amount of chocolate gives a richer and more intense chocolate taste, while more cream creates a lighter and creamier flavor. Because of this flexibility, ganache is a very versatile element in pastry creations and can be adjusted depending on the texture and finish a baker wants to achieve.
