Lady Priyanka Mallick Unveils “Shakti Draped With Innocence” – A Historic Saree Honored by King Charles III and Accepted at UNESCO & UN SDG Action Campaign
— International fashion designer Lady Priyanka Mallick has created a historic saree titled “Shakti Draped With Innocence,” portraying Amrita Bose Gupta Madam, founder of Aranyaj Foundation, as the human embodiment of Goddess Durga’s Shakti.
The saree carries powerful symbolism:
Borders with red fingerprints and paintings by Sundarbans’ children, representing their love and gratitude.
A floral and butterfly tiara, inspired by Queen Victoria’s Headdress Tiara, symbolizing interconnection with nature and the blessing of Cosmic Energy — butterflies being Lady Priyanka’s eternal signature.
This creation has been honored with the best wishes of His Majesty King Charles III and has been accepted by UNESCO’s Convention on the Diversity of Cultural Expressions and the United Nations SDG Action Campaign.
