Internationally renowned Universal Fashion Designer Priyanka Mallick has created history as her designs have successfully landed on the Moon’s surface. At 3:45 AM EST, on the Mare Crisium region of the lunar surface, her designs, including The Eternal Rose Dress for Her Majesty Queen Camilla and The Cosmic Butterfly Brooch for His Majesty King Charles III, became the first-ever fashion pieces to touch down on the Moon.
This milestone was made possible through the Firefly Aerospace Blue Ghost Lunar Lander with NASA, which carried Lifeship’s Pyramid—an archive of human legacy that includes Priyanka Mallick’s designs and name, ensuring her presence on the Moon for eternity.
Prestigious Recognition & Global Congratulations
Priyanka Mallick has been honored by NASA as a “Universal Fashion Designer,” acknowledging her contribution to fashion beyond Earth and into space exploration. Her designs are also set to travel to Jupiter’s icy moon, Europa, aboard NASA’s Europa Clipper Mission, scheduled to land in October 2026.
Her achievement has garnered international recognition, with Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla sending heartfelt letters of appreciation and congratulations both before and after the Moon landing. The Buckingham Palace officially sent its wishes via email after the successful mission, celebrating this remarkable moment.
Additionally, President Donald Trump personally extended his best wishes, stating, “You are an inspiration to the entire world.”
