Three years ago, I took a leap of faith and started Bakeology Surat. It was a small dream back then, but it has grown into something much bigger. Today, we are proud to offer Surat’s best custom designer cakes and desserts like cheesecakes, brownies, cupcakes, and more. Beyond baking, I also teach online and offline classes to share my love for this beautiful art with others. This journey has been about more than just cakes—it’s about passion, hard work, and spreading happiness.

Balancing Creativity and Perfection

Baking is like a dance between creativity and perfection. On one hand, it’s about experimenting and creating something new; on the other, it’s about getting every detail right. For me, precision is the base—once I’ve nailed the basics, I can let my imagination take over. One of my favorite moments was designing a tropical-themed cake. It wasn’t just a cake—it was a story of summer, sunshine, and flavors of coconut and pineapple. Seeing my vision come to life was magical.

Staying True to Traditions While Trying New Ideas

I respect the traditions of baking, but I also love to explore new ideas. Once, I reimagined the classic Indian gulab jamun as a modern dessert—a layered cake with cardamom mousse and rose jelly. It had the heart of an old favorite but looked and tasted completely fresh. This balance of old and new is what makes baking exciting for me.

The Secret is in the Ingredients By Parul Narang

Good desserts start with good ingredients. I believe in using fresh, seasonal, and local products whenever I can. They bring natural flavors that make every bite special. Sometimes, imported ingredients like Belgian chocolate or Madagascar vanilla add a richness that can’t be replaced. The key is to choose what’s best for the dessert so that every creation feels and tastes perfect.

Inspired by Cultures Around the World

Baking has taught me that food connects us all. I find inspiration in flavors and techniques from around the world. French pastries have taught me elegance, while Indian sweets bring warmth and comfort to my creations. My saffron-infused cheesecake with pistachio crumble is an example of how I bring these two worlds together. Every dessert tells a story, and I love sharing these stories through my work.

Desserts Are More Than Just Food

In today’s world, desserts aren’t just something sweet to end a meal—they are an experience. They leave the last and lasting impression. As a baker, I try to create desserts that bring joy, surprise, and even a little wonder. Whether it’s a warm brownie or an elaborate custom cake, I want every bite to feel special.

Baking Changed My Life

Baking has given me more than just a career—it has shaped who I am. It has taught me patience when things didn’t go right, creativity when I faced challenges, and the value of hard work in everything I do. Every cake I bake and every class I teach is my way of sharing my journey with others and inspiring them to follow their dreams.
