When did you started your journey as an entrepreneur?

After working briefly in management roll, I was always exposed to taking big dicision in my career in automobile manufacturing. With this expereince I have started my journey as entrepreneur in 2020with Kryzen Biotech.

How do you balance the economic objectives of achieving the fastest return on investment with the environmental goals of sustainable agriculture, especially in the context of resource use (water, nutrients, energy) and long-term soil health within your hydroponics systems?

As we use NFT technique to setup our farms it requires less water as compare to other techniques and as water flows in zigzag design we ensure that the electricity requirement is less. And as we provide targeted nutrients to route zone ultimately the requirement of nutrient is less compare to other framing technologies and also we collect all NFT pipe water into Reservoir tank and recirculate that water to plants again the nutrient uptake is also less.

In what ways are advanced technologies—such as artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and the Internet of Things (IoT)—integrated into your hydroponic farming solutions to optimize growth conditions, predict yields, and enhance operational efficiency, thereby contributing to lower CapEx and higher ROI?

We use Price watcher to see the predictability of the vegetable rate trend which gives us insights about what to grow again we have farm management software which helps us to manage the farm operations. With IoT we are able to manage day to day fertigation and farm management operations.

Given the diversity in climate, market demand, and logistical challenges across different regions, how do your hydroponic farm projects adapt to ensure scalability and flexibility, while still maintaining low investment costs and achieving quick returns on investment?

As we setup climatic control greenhouses for hydroponic systems it reduces the climatic dependency, as the hydroponic produce is  pesticide and herbicide free it has huge demand that’s why we can able to sell it at premium cost like organic produce. It helps us achieve quick ROI.

How does Kryzen Biotech  navigate the challenges of integrating sustainable technologies within Controlled Environment Agriculture to not only enhance productivity and efficiency but also ensure the economic viability and environmental sustainability of urban farming models for the new-age urban farmer?

As we provide ecosystem to the urban farmer and provide them agronomist support to grow the hydroponic produce so that they can easily adapt the technology and achieve the scaleability.

How does your company’s strategy of forward and backward integration, from controlling external farm operations to developing FMCG products, influence your ability to adapt to rapidly changing market demands and consumer preferences, while maintaining the integrity and safety of the food supply chain?

As we have farm management software we gather all data from it and do the analysis of production quantity and also its quality. And as we don’t have any climatic dependency we can shift to any crop which has huge demand so it is quite easy using hydroponic technology.

How does Kryzen Biotech evaluate and integrate the latest advancements in sustainable technologies and farming practices within the CEA framework to not only meet the productivity and sustainability goals of urban agriculture but also address the socio-economic challenges faced by new-age urban farmers?

Our R&D Team makes sure that we are well vesred with latest adavancement and practices which can improve the system performance and its output.

We belive in Integrating advancements in sustainable technologies into their Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) framework would involve careful evaluation and testing. This includes incorporating energy-efficient LED lighting systems, advanced climate control mechanisms, and automation technologies for precise resource management.

To chase the global food supply chains we have adopted the vertical approach which gives multifold production in smaller place and even with less recourses.

To reduce food wastage we can de-hydrate and increase the shelf life of food there are advance techniques to dry like fridge dry which increase the shelf life of vegetables with no impact on its quality.
