Ananya Jain, a dynamic 28-year-old entrepreneur, launched her brand, The Boozy Button, at the age of 23 during the pandemic. What started as a personal passion, inspired by growing up in a family of fashion entrepreneurs, has evolved into a popular label adored by Gen Z and millennials.
From kaftans to luxury loungewear, formal wear, and even home decor, The Boozy Button now represents a fusion of eclectic designs that reflect Ananya’s bold, unapologetic personality and her mission to make fashion a medium for self-expression. With a unique mix of traditional fabrics and modern aesthetics, Ananya continues to push boundaries while staying connected to her cultural roots, all while expanding the brand’s reach across international markets.
Boozy is now entering home spaces of its clients through customised wallpaper art, upholstery and bedsheets. We have also started homemade dogwear and activewear with lingerie, exciting our audience with this new overload of happinenss. Closing last year, we have launched and entered into personal care and perfumes space, all handcrafted by us, on our website.
The founder Ananya Jain, with the education of BA hons from Nottingham Trent university and Manchester metropolitan university, is a millennial. The brand she created personifies her personality. She is The next door girl who binges on couture with her kebabs.

Apart from this, Ananaya Jain is full time engaged in the brand building and has taken the brand overseas to the gulf countries and europe. She is also a trained Bharatanatyam dancer and enjoys travelling the world, interacting with people of differrnt cultures and natuonality which further helps in bringing freshness to the brand – boozy!
When did you started your journey with The Boozy Button?
I am Ananya Jain, 28 years old. Started my brand at the age of 23 years during covid. Now, its become a popular genz and millennial brand. I have grown up surrounded by talks of fabrics and trends and fashion being born the fashion entrepreneur parents. Didn’t realise how eventually it became my passion.
How does the blending of traditional and modern elements in fashion, as portrayed in “The Boozy Button,” reflect the complexities of contemporary identity and self-expression?
Boozy is a brand which makes one feel comfortable just as they are. No filter, just embraces all our natural shades, during our day to day hustling life. It breaks the stereotype that bringing out certain emotions, add a judgmental tag to the personality of a person. Negating that idea, and being unapologetic about our mood colours, is the core of the brand.

In what ways can the character of “The Boozy Button” be seen as a metaphor for the balance between cultural heritage and modernity in today’s society?
Blame it on that one night when our darzi drank a bottle (or two) of chardonnay. The tipsy in him mixed the designs and now what we have is The Boozy Button. Well, we are not complaining because we’re loving this crossover hangover.

How does the enduring appeal of denim, as both a timeless wardrobe staple and a statement of personal style, reflect the broader cultural shift towards embracing individuality while maintaining a connection to past fashion trends?
Some trends are ethereal, makes one feel young, timeless and rooted. Denims to me makes me feel grounded and still out there. Its a comfort skin colour for me, and something which is a no brainer. Now adays, the experimentatives in us, likes to style denims in quirky ways, suggesting it still to be their core, childhood choice of outfit.
What fashion Means to you?
Fashion to me is simply an expression of one’s solid self. Ones core idenity formed through years of grinding. Today our brand, our fashion product truly should reflect our ideals and perspectives so that we too can tell the world a story of our own, without seeking any validation.
How does the fusion of traditional garments like the rectangle sleeves kurta and Afghani dhoti with modern fabric choices such as Moroccan silk reflect the evolving nature of cultural fashion and its role in bridging heritage with contemporary comfort?
Comfort is something which the entire world craves. Howver, to my undertanding and experince, in india, age groups between 35- 65 crave comfort the most, howevr they also want to be out their with their impeccable fashion sense. Hence such fusion style cuts really intervene here and take their space as the most fetched after outfits which makes one feel on top of their fashion game and yet feel an exhalign sense of comfort within.
