Bharat Nyay Yatra 2.O Rahul Gandhi is all set to start the Bharat Nyay Yatra 2.O From Manipur in the East to Mumbai in the West. Meanwhile, the yatra is renamed as Nyay Yatra. At the same time, this Yatra will cover around 6000 Km. Bharat Nyay Yatra 2.O is one of the biggest Yatra, and it will give an intense battle fight. Bharat Nyay Yatra 2.O will be one of the significant Yatra and they will provide a tough battle and try to gain votes and will be necessary.
It will be one of the most significant marches Rahul Gandhi will depend upon. The Yatra will begin on 14 January. Rahul Gandhi, Congress MP, is set to initiate the second edition of the Bharat Jodo Yatra, now renamed the ‘Bharat Nyay Yatra,‘ commencing on January 14. This march will traverse the country from east to west, starting in Manipur in the Northeast and concluding in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Congress will provide a tough fight.
The Bharat Nyay Yatra is planned to cover 6,200 kilometres across 85 districts in 14 states, including Manipur, Nagaland, Assam, Meghalaya, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Maharashtra. The initiative aims to connect with people across diverse regions, fostering engagement and addressing the issues pertinent to the citizens in these areas.

History at its Highest Level Congress
The political landscape in Karnataka during the late February 1978 elections was marked by a significant development—the vertical split in the Congress. The Janata Party, then in power at the Centre, aimed to capitalise on this split and expand its influence in the southern state, shedding its perception as a primarily north India-centric entity.
However, the election results defied expectations. The Congress (I), named so because Indira Gandhi was its president, emerged victorious with a comfortable majority. Out of the 224 seats in the House, the Congress (I) secured 149 seats, boasting a substantial vote share of 44.25%. This electoral success was surprising, given the internal divisions within the Congress at the time.
On the other hand, despite fielding notable leaders like Veerendra Patil, Ramakrishna Hegde, S.R. Bommai, and H.D. Deve Gowda, the Janata Party couldn’t match the Congress (I)’s performance. The Janata Party secured only 59 seats, and the official Congress had a meagre showing with just two seats.
The results reflected the resilience and popularity of the Congress (I) in Karnataka during this period, despite the internal challenges and the Janata Party’s efforts to capitalise on the split within the Congress.
