How do you approach the process of character development, and what aspects of your personal experiences do you incorporate into your roles?
I always try to understand the depth of the character by developing a backstory to it so that it reflects even in my body language and then bring in my personal experiences depending on the character’s demand
In what ways do you believe your travels and exposure to different cultures have enriched your acting and creative outlook?
Travelling and exposure of any kind enhance’s one’s personality and outlook towards life. It makes one confident to another level. I love travelling for work more than just leisure though
Can you discuss how the evolving nature of the entertainment industry has influenced the way you select and approach new projects?
I believe change is the only constant and I like evolving with the changing times. But one thing that remains to be is my love for cinema and the audience.
What role do you think collaboration plays in the creative process, and how do you balance your artistic vision with that of your directors and co-stars?
Collaboration with like minded and progressive people is always a good idea and when I’m on sets I always try to deliver what my director expects of me as an actor because I believe he’s the captain of the ship that we all sail on.
How do you maintain a sense of authenticity in your performances while also adapting to the diverse roles and genres you’re presented with?
I believe conviction is the key to authenticity. If you’re convinced with the part that you’re playing that’s then the audience will always connect with you as a person and as the character that you’re playing.
