The game was played from 7:30 pm at Eden Gardens. KKR lost the toss, whereas RCB decided to field first.

KKR Triumphs Plans made plans fell part for both the teams
Narine and Phil Salt came to bat. RCB gracefully kept Sunil Narine quiet. While most teams know not to give him any room, they went a stage further, dropped all front, and tried to bowl nothing but leg-stump Yorkers. KKR’s biggest hitter this season needed eight balls to get off the mark. Salt came to his rescue, saving his team. Narine couldn’t score big that day.
Mohammad Siraj needed to do his job correctly yesterday. Even Yash Dyal could not take wickets in the first few overs. But Siraj finally sent KKR Phil Salt’s big fish back to the pavilion. Rajat Patidar took the catch, which was a massive relief for RCB fans. Angkrish Raghuvanshi came to bat. Right after that, Sunil Narine got out by Yash Dayal, though Narine had hurt his feet earlier. Virat Kohli took the brilliant catch; Narine was 10 in 15 balls.

Venkatesh Iyer hit a few boundaries, which helped KKR score good runs. But Green took the most energetic catch of this match and sent Iyer to the pavilion. KKR was 75-3 in 6.3 overs. KKR’s Captain hit a half century, which was really needed at that moment. Rinku Singh’s catch was taken by Yash Dayal. Moreover, the partnership between Iyer, Ramandeep, and Russell made KKR get a pretty decent score of 222-6.
RCB’s batting bunch is different from that in form. Faf and Virat came to open, and Virat was out Harshit Rana. That moment created a fuss, though; Faf couldn’t stick for long. Varun dismissed Faf Du Plessis. Rajat Patidar scored his half-century, and it seems all his teammates were happy for him. Mitchell Starc gave huge runs to RCB batters. Then comes Andre Russell in 11th, who took two wickets in an over. That twist is everything KKR fans needed. Narine also took a wicket. Dinesh Karthik unfortunately could not lead RCB to win that day.
He was out by Russell. RCB needed 25 runs in 8 balls, Karn Sharma hit three sixes in Starc’s over, and the game was twisted. The runout saved KKR by one wicket. KKR defeats RCB in IPL 2024 as their seventh loss against KKR. KKR successfully finished with a score of 222/6 in 20 overs. This victory marked a significant win for KKR in the IPL, showcasing their strong performance against RCB in the tournament.
